Bare Knuckle FC Michigan debut may be the CRAZIEST fights I’ve ever seen Live

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships mad it’s long awaited debut in Michigan Saturday night, emanating from the beautiful Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant Michigan. Michigan fighters and fans quickly showed BKFC and David Feldman that this is a place they need to be and DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

First Michigan fighter to make waves on the night was P Dot Parris Boyd who had a stellar debut and stops his opponent EARLY in round 1 in maybe his best performance I’ve seen. Having called some of his MMA fights previously, I truly felt like THIS is the sport for him. It’s great to see Michigan fighters come together to prepare as he trained with Mike Hernandez for the fight who also had a star making performance.

Mike Hernandez returned to the ring after a 7 lay off rejuvenated and fueled by his faith. An 11-4 pro in MMA Hernandez is no stranger to the ring despite his time off. One thing that hasn’t changed in that his intensity is undeniable you can see the heat between he and his opponent Castillo. Hernandez lived up to the “Hurricane” moniker as his in and out movement and relentless pressure overwhelmed Castillo resulting in a second rd TKO due to a NASTY CUT.

Mike stole the show with his post fight speech where he spoke about his journey back to the ring defeating addiction and dedicating the fight to his father Raymond Hernandez. Even the Notorious Conor McGregor took to social media to say his father’s name and congratulate him on his performance.

Justin “The Nightmare” Street knows what he’s fighting for he’s fighting for milk in a quote from “Cinderella Man”. Street had good counterpunching damaging opponent in round 1. Streets boxing was the difference but his opponents pressure style is made this a dog fight and in my estimation fight of the night. The body shots down the stretch made the difference in my opinion getting street a Unanimous decision victory through his renewed focus.

Eric El Travieso Lozano returned to the BKFC ring and threw everything but the kitchen sink at Tylor Sijohn scoring 5 knockdowns leading to a unanimous decision victory. Lozano had great use of the Thai clung and dirty boxing in close. After the fight he said he wants a top 5 opponent with a full camp would like to fight Jay Jackson.

Detroit Native Joseph Creer returns to Michigan and puts on a show repping the Detroit Lions pride with his gear ! Creer had a knockdown in the first round with beautiful use of the whizzer landing shots in the clinch. Hen then went on to score a 2nd knockdown via a nasty right hook and a finish after a 3rd knockdown in the 2nd.

The Rivera Era is for real ! Clean boxing and explosive power from Nathan Rivera stopping former title challenger Tommy Strydom breaking his jaw. Rivera was also entertaining in the post fight channeling his inner pro wrestler with a good promo and calls out Edgard Plazaola says he’s running.

Last but certainly not least a star is made by blood ! Esteban Rodriguez meets Zac Cavender in the center and the threw down both men cut and stops him in the first. As he said speaking to us on Knockouts and 3 Counts that this is only the beginning saying “he’s only just getting started and there’s NOTHING you can do to stop it.” BKFC president David Feldman says “we have a new star in the BKFC and his name is Esteban Rodriguez.” After last night’s performance Rodriguez could be eying the Cruiserweight title along with the tournament coming up as he talked about on the show.
